Why is my NFT not visible in my Ledger Live wallet?

Modified on Thu, Jun 5 at 6:40 PM

Ledger Live does not currently support displaying NFTs on the Base chain within its interface.

However, you can manage Base chain NFTs using your Ledger hardware wallet by connecting it to a third-party wallet or service that supports Base NFTs, such as Zerion, available in Ledger Live’s “Discover” section. Here’s how:
  1. Set Up Base Account:
    • In Ledger Live, connect your Ledger device and unlock it.
    • Navigate to “Accounts,” select “Add Account,” and choose “Base (ETH).” Follow prompts to create the account, ensuring the Ethereum app is installed on your Ledger device.
  2. View and Manage NFTs:
    • Base NFTs are not visible in Ledger Live’s interface. Instead, use the “Discover” tab in Ledger Live to access the Zerion app, which supports viewing Base NFTs.
    • Alternatively, connect your Ledger to external platforms like OpenSea or MetaMask (configured for the Base chain) to manage NFTs. Ensure you verify transactions on your Ledger device for security.
  3. Send/Receive NFTs:
    • To receive NFTs, copy your Base account address from Ledger Live and share it with the sender or marketplace.
    • To send NFTs, use a third-party wallet like MetaMask or Zerion connected to your Ledger. Confirm all transactions on your Ledger device to avoid blind signing risks.
Security Note: Always verify addresses and transactions on your Ledger device. Store your recovery phrase offline and avoid interacting with unknown NFTs to prevent scams.
